We’re selling our lives

Believe it or not, every single day we're actually selling our time or specifically our life.
Whether you like it or not, want it or not, you have to sell. It's part and parcel of life. But the fortunate thing is that we all have to power to control how much we want to sell it for, we all have the right to give ourselves a value!

Imagine you could quote any amount, any price to sell 5 years of your life or 10 years of your life, how much would that be? An amount must be stated! Writing things such as "Priceless" or "Not for sale" will be forfeited and you'll lose those years without anything in return!

If you had quoted $1,000,000 for 10 years, you'll get the money instantly and immediately fast forward through 10 years. If you're 20yrs old, you'll instantly be 30yrs old with $1,000,000 in hand!

See, this simple test is to tell us how much we value ourselves. For people who quote e.g $1,000,000 for 5 years, are you really giving yourself that value?
To get a clearer picture, count for yourself. If you're worth a $1,000,000 for 5 years, that's $200,000/year and $548/day!

Every day, every hour, are you spending it like how much you claim to be treasuring it? To be valuing it? Or are you wasting time away by being lazy or procrastinating every now and then?
Everyday that passes in your life, you have just sold it! You are never going to get it back! And guess who you sold it to? None other than yourself!

If you are wasting time, creating $0 worth of value then you're paying yourself that amount for that time! It doesn't have to be money, it could be investing time with your family and children, investing time in your education, spending time exercising. As long as that hour isn't lost without adding value in your life.
If you know how much you're worth, then pay yourself that amount!
