Chinese New Year 2013

It is the Lunar/Chinese New Year. Despite celebrations and wishes, I personally like to take this time as a Resolutions vs Results evaluation.

It has been 2 months since the start of 2013 and I believe that most of us had set some resolutions or goals to be achieved in the year ahead. However, we tend to go off course over a period of time because motivation doesn't last, there is no doubt that the motivational level to accomplish anything you have set for yourself will decrease if you don't review your goals regularly.

As humans, we tend to do things which makes us feel better at that specific point of time.

No matter if the actions is sabotaging ourselves like procrastination or giving up, we tell ourselves that it's ok and it wouldn't affect much. But going off course just a little in a day results in going towards the wrong direction in a months time! Let alone 2 months.

So take this time to review our goals, have we forgotten the commitment we made with ourselves back in the last day, the last minute of 2012? No matter if you're Chinese or not, take this time to set yourself back on course! And head for the direction you have set for yourselves!

More importantly, do it regularly! Gong Xi Fa Cai.
